Good good. You will then be on the same meds as me and expected to keep up - ie 4 stone gain in 3 months hehehe. Oh wait - that was mostly drug free, drat.
In all seriousness though your strength will increase very rapidly, hold back and train within yourself a little - add a bit of volume early in the cycle rather than push 1/2/3RM's and break PB's every session. Do a few sets of lihgter work and get plenty blood flow going. This will let you not-so-roided tissue (tendons etc) catch up a little and stop you injuring yourself. Beware the invincibility demon - it sits on your shoulder and tells you you can do anything on a cycle. You can't! Other demons will tell you are incredibly attractive and fantastic in every way. You can decide for yourself on that one. The last one will tell you all women are goddesses that should be worshipped. Preferably by ritual bathing in your man-fluids. Watch for this as it tends to ruin existing relationships. OK, elderly uncle type schtick over, cheers, G

HA HA!!!! One of the best best posts i have ever read mate, had me pissing myself that one. So true aswell...
I certainly don't want to gain 4 stone in 3 months! You have to be able to move to be a good strongman! That is some impressive gaining though mate. My best was 5 stone in a year when i first started lifting. I'll make sure i do some rep work aswell, but the temptation to go heavy is there every time when i warm up especially when 120, then 140 and even 160 feel like the empty bar. Before gear i would only go heavy if i felt 'ON',i don't plan sessions i usually decide what i'm going to do based on how the warmups feel. Thanks again for your help mate. |
