can you post what you eat in a typical day?

Or is it the fact that you cannot post what you eat in a typical day the problem?

Scourge, stop being a FAG. You know you can gain weight, you just have to eat more, and cleaner. IIRC your diet is absolutely terrible and your sleep isn't much better... You'll remember this little quote of mine:

The word hardgainer is an excuse, not a reason.

Eat, eat, eat and eat some more :Wizard: . And not too much of this :running:

How does this look:

11:30 Breakfast - Big protein/weight gainer milkshake.
12:30 Lunch - Four eggs, banana and four slices of bread (all my bread is wholemeal).
15:30 2nd Lunch - Tin of tuna, two slice of bead and two bananas.
18:30 Dinner - 1 plate of dinner roughly divided into 1/3 meat, 1/3 tattie and 1/3 vegetables.
23:30 Supper - Four slices of bread, a fair bit of cheddar, two grapefruits, big protein/weightgainer milkshake.

A gallon of semi-skimmed milk drunk throughout the day.

That's what I'll eat on a good day.

I can gain weight almost as well as anyone else if I eat enough, but I just hate making food (it takes too long) and eating food (I feel like I'm going to throw up most of the day if I'm eating enough to put on weight. In short, I really rather enjoy not eating.

My diet's clean in the sense that I don't live on pizza and McDo***ds (my diet is free of simple sugars and alcohol almost 100% of the time). The problem is fruit and veg, which I despise.

The fruit and veg thing I'll just have to deal with and suck it up myself - What would be useful is if anyone could tell me how to get vast amounts of calories with minimal effort. I need meal ideas.

I don't want to eat a mars bar though. I don't even really want to eat anything most of the time.

I'll try it one day but the thing I hate about pasta is that it's too boring to eat. After ten minutes of eating pasta it doesn't even look like you've touched your plate. I had a Mars bar yesterday for the first time in a few months and noticed it had nearly 500kcal :016: .

Scourge, try force feeding your self - that is the only way you get your body and metabolism to get used to more food...I'm afraid that is the way we will start out when trying to gain weight.

I once remember reading a great quote which went something like:

"muscle does not grow on thin air and good intentions or else we would all have the Herculean physiques"

Robert

Thats a good quote Knighty. I'll remeber that.

knighty mate - how much casein should i be consuming in 1 go as i am fasting daily for the next month? i was thinking along the lines of having a normal meal and then a shake afterwards in the morning, like 18gs of whey and 35gs of casein. the whey helps with the consistency of the shake.

cheers

Is this around anytime you train?

Personally I would have a balanced meal and after that I would make the proteins solution up to how you would like it and sip it in small amounts to the time you must start your fast.

Once it's written down you can see where it's all going wrong. I consume quite a bit from lunchtime onwards..

What would you recommend. I'm crap with eating as you can tell. I like eating too much crap stuff like Coke and chocolate...

Perhaps I should have a protein shake in the morning..?? I could have one when I get to work, use their milk then.. :D

Err, no thanks. I know you have to kill the taste of tuna some how but peanut better is not the answer.

A little mustard in a tuna sandwhich on the other hand...
