View Full Version : Foam Rollers For Myofascial Release / Massage
Don't know if this is the right place to put this but i was wondering if anyone uses foam rollers at all for self massage.I regularly see a physio for massage mainly on my back and shoulders (work on a computer) but would using a foam roller in between the sessions and especially for my legs be of benefit.

Yes and yes. I've also worked out how to re-allign my spine with one, which saves me a few quid!
www.physicalcompany.co.uk < you have to sign up to be able to buy stuff.
Thanks Alex.
Is any particular size roller better than another and is the book on the site also worth getting at all ?

Mine is 6 inches wide I think ;) , thinner = more pain = not neccesary for most people I think
The length is up to you, I got a small one cause I don't have much space at home.
Book, probably not.
Thanks again Alex,i'll get one sorted :023:

SMR is great, I must admit I dont do it regularly enough though, for the price of the roller there really is no excuse to not do it

Got one on PKs advice about 12 months ago. Brilliant for the relieving the lower back stiffness which I suffer from.
