I'm going to compete next year in the BWLA U18's ... my current total is 320kg, I need to get that to 330kg and drop a couple of pounds in order to qualify for the finals, or put on a few pounds and get my total to 370kg (i think thats right).
I was thinking about making a journal on muscletalk but this seems a much better place.
What I want to know is, what are the chances of this forum just disappearing overnight as so many do? I don't want to lose weeks or even months of journal entries.
And also, is anyone actually interested enough for me to bother with a journal?

Powerlifting journals are the best to read so get it posted up. What weight are you just now and what will your training be like?
im about 13-13st7lb (it can vary quite a lot depending on how i've eaten for a few days). My bodyfat is around 16% though :(, but is down from about 19-20% :) Ideally would like to be 8% but i'll be happy with 10-12%.
My routine that i've been doing for a couple of weeks (since i started PLing basically) is like this:
day 1:
Bench: work up to 1rm, then 3x3
lockouts 3x3
closegrip bench 4x5
chins 3x5
military press 3x5
gripper
day3:
squat: work up to 1rm, then 3x3
SLDL's: 3x5 (may switch to good mornings now I have facilities)
WG chins: 4x5
Plate curls: 3x8
gripper
day6:
squat: work up to 1rm, then 3x3
deadlift: 4-6 singles depending on how knackered i am
hammer curls: 3x8
gripper (sometimes do next day if im too tired)
I don't think I've missed anything out...I'm doing squat twice a week because it really sucks compared to my other lifts.

RE MIKE: I asked for a routine on muscletalk and got loads of suggestions so kinda ended up putting it together myself from what other people said and from reading some other things such as West Side stuff. I'm enjoying it so far.
Anyway, ive decided i will start a journal here soon :045:

I do my journal in word on my pc then copy paste it, i can backtrack over 44 pages of training sessions, that is probably safest even a notepad document would do, keep a back up just incase

I keep a log for myself on paper so that's no worry, just if I lose it all i'm not gonna write it all up again thats all...
maybe i'll just save each page of my journal as i go along just incase...
