2. tuna
3. chicken
4. beef
now the beef thing, i cant really afford to eat steaks everyday, what other options do i have, mince, burgers, ummm... anything else?

I have lean minced beef. It has 10g of fat per 100g. IIRC around 6g of that is saturated fat.
Cottage Cheese
Turkey
Pork
Lamb
Quorn
Soya products (Don't believe the anti-soy bullshit!)
Veal
Duck
Pheasant
Prawns
Mackerel
Salmon
Pilchards/sardines
low fat yoghurt
nuts/seeds
kippers
Whey/Casein
Quark
I wish I could eat a lot of beef but I can't afford it. I have lean minced beef two to three meals a week and I love it!

If you like beef but can't afford too many steaks you could buy cheaper cuts and stew/braise it with some onions and root veggies.
Thanks Phil, just found a local(ish) one! I'll have to check them out. How much cheaper did you find it was compared to supermarket meat?
Thanks KMP, stew sounds goooood....

A local one to me advertises a tray of around 13 large chicken breasts for £10 (can't remember the weight being advertised). My mate got 5 decent cuts of steak for £5 too (all decent sizes)
Phil
Yeah do what KMP said....
I buy about a kilo of braising/stewing steak from any supermarket for about £3.
Then: ( in 1 huuuuge pot)
Cut up steak
carrots
onions
leeks
garlic
any veg u want in fact
half a btl of cheap red wine OR a bottle of ale/stout
a pint or two of beef stock
2 bouquet garni (kinda herb teabag)
just stick it all in the pot about 2.00 pm, leave on a really really low heat and by 7ish it'll be beautiful. 1000g of steak is enough for 3-4 meals as well, so you can freeze some of the finished stew in bags and bang it in the microwave later and nail it with some bread - quick feed !
Dribble dribble - sounds good! I know what I'm eating next Sunday.

PK please get a life and eat what you like. Yesterday was ridiculous, eating rice and cold tuna steak just because you think it is good for you, even though you could hardly swollow it, because you hated the taste. I eat about 5000 calories a day, what I like, when I like. Pound for pound you know I have more muscular definition than you!!!!!!!! Muhahaha!!!!!!!!
You think too much. You worry too much. You stress too much. Relax, chill and just enjoy being alive and well!

P.S. Don't waste your time replying to this. I know you better than anyone else on this forum and you have an obsessive, addictive nature.
