I am very happy with my current routine and don't intend to change it until i do the Odd Object month in Dec. However, i am very very bored and have been playing around with this idea: Heavy singles and repititions.

1.
Squat - 3-5x1
Deadlift - 3-5 x1

2.
Bench - 3-5x1
Row - 3-5x1
Millitary Press - 3-5x1

3.
GoodMorning - 3x8.
+3assistance - 3x8.

I like the look of it.

Dont like it. Too many singles and not enough volume. Could probably finish it in 20mins.

Too many singles?? Since when has hard work been a thing to be scared of? Not enough volume??? You might be right, but i would hazard all that load would make up for it. And Day3. can be as much volume as you can handle. So what if you can finish it in 20mins? When i did J5's hypertrophy routine most of the sessions were 25-40mins max, it worked brilliantly.

Who's said I'm scared of hard work? You can still work hard without singles!
I am right about volume, the load COULD make up for it, dont assume it will.
I'm usually the one complaining about high volume routines, so coming from me (saying it's too low) it's saying something.
My comment about finishing quickly was a statement, not a negative of the routine.

I still dont like it.

Yes you can, but if you put in some mega fcukign serious effort you aint gonna want nor need that extra volume. Imo anyways.

This whole thing is based on assumptions. No-one has a routine like this, maybe thats for good reason, or maybe i am onto something?

Bollox, I wrote a big ass reply and my laptop battery cut out :( .
Here's the short version:

You assume your assumptions are correct, you are wrong to do so. Begginers assume the leg press is the same as the squat, it isnt. Stop guessing.
