Can anyone describe perfect pull through form as I pulled the whole stack of weight's (120kg) first time I tried them on wednesday and I think I must be doing something wrong as it was quite easy.

I make sure to control the weight and lower it as far back as possible to use a full rom then explode up again.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

1. How wide are your legs?
2. How much ROM in " did you get?
3. Where did you feel it most, hams, glutes or lower back?

1. About 3" wider then shoulder width on each side, toes pointing forward.
2. I dont know. I started with the rope in between my legs, and allowed it to stretch back untill my hands were behind my ass. If my hands went any further back I would have fallen over, wouldnt be able to balance.
3. I felt it most in the lower back, but I got severe ham doms the next day.

1. Try having them wider, like sumo stance.
2. My hands come waaaaay behind my ass, get lower by bending your legs till you get a good stretch in the hams.
3. Sound, same here. I use my calves a bit to, for stabilizing.

1. I dont see how it will make a difference. Actually it will probably make it even easier.
2. If my hands go back any further my shoulders will lower and my ass will rise, is that what's supposed to happen? I dont think it is.
3. I feel a stretch in the hams, like GM's, but no glutes.

1. It will be more PC taxing and less lowerback taxing. It is in my experince anyways. But i am using it as a PC exercise. Your PC is stronger than mine, so if the pullthrough machine wont go and heavier, maybe they are of no use to you.
2. Yes it is. My back is paralell to the floor at the bottom position.
3. Yep, same here.

1. My stance is wide anyway which uses loads of pc, wont make much difference.
2. We'll see. I think I could lift it all your way, anyway.

Any alternatives? Dont say GHR.

And thanks :003:

i think it depends where you tie the bands, if you tie them around the stack then as help says they get eaten, I learnt that the hard way. I tie them around the frame work and then round the handle or attach to the clip, seems ok like this so far.
