...I have got 10 points on my license (only just got it back).

Was looking for qoutes and no-one will insure me for less than 3k.

Got a quote without declaring points and it's only £800!!! (That's for a 1.8 Civic Vti, 170BHP!

It's tempting....

I've got my old license and counterpart that show me as a clean license holder. I can't afford the 3k. I'm only going to drive it the bare minimum for a few years till the insurance drops (or the points expire!)

...What would you do in this tempting situation?

I think you should pay 3K to be honest. You obviously got those points for driving like a twat, so I think you should pay the price.

Bullsh*t... the police around here fcuk u over and then lie in court.
What would you do if some **** was tailgating you with there lights on full beam?

PikeKing
15-10-2004, 18:46
and why would they do that?

Rage
15-10-2004, 18:47
Ask them, they lie throught heir teeth....scum of the earth. I felt like banging the prick out. He deserved it.

PikeKing

scum of the earth? ok? Think what society would be like without any police

Rage
15-10-2004, 18:52
Think what society would be like if the pigs actually arrested some criminals. Instead of fcuking young kids over cos they got nothing better to do. Smug gits in my opinion... deserve a good slapping.

aww poor you, you are so hard done by.

You were obviously doing something to get those points.

Be a man and accept it instead of blaming everyone else.

Seriously, i wouldnt declare the points, you get caught speeding, you get fined then your insurance company goes nuts too, i got done for speeding back in 98 and it cost me over £300 in total with the insurance hike, the other week i thought i got caught when a dual carriage way dropped from a 70 to a 40 but i was reading road signs and never noticeed it, then i saw a speed camera van, checked the speedo smack on 70 thought no prob, Then noticed i was in a 40 zone! 5hit!, The next week at 3:20am i was on my way to the world rally and forgot about a speed camers Doh! I havnt hqad the points through yet but thats £120 in fines probably due, I do try and not speed but sometime its hard.

Do you think it is acceptable for the police to drive up your arse just because you have a nice car, pushing you to go faster? I think it's outrageous the police can get away with this.

Do you happen to know that the police get a percentage of the fine for there police station? This means they are more than happy to dish them out. So happy that they goad people into speeding infact

Is it ok for a policeman to give you a lift home doing double the speed limit all the way, whilst giving you a lecture on speeding? Bloody hippocrits if you ask me.

Is it ok for the police to lie in court? They originally started following me as the fcuking monkey thought i had fog lights wire to main beam when they are actually driving lights.

Is it ok for all of this to happen on a regualre basis (my freinds have been caught the same way, dark nite, nob driving up your arse).

Police can get away with murder, litterally. The majority of them are power freaks and stupid as fcuk. Just because your an old man adn the police never bother you. You should try being a youngster in this era.

And then if the fine, court costs, court fine is not enough... you get shafted by the insurance company. With thanks to the bent pig force.

So no, i'm not accepting this shit. And the police are to blame.

Keep you wig on Rage! I know where your coming from but maybe if you made your point more nicley poeple wouldnt get offended, I have heard many tales of coppers in unmarked vehicles tailgating to get you to speed up and i know round the Bournemouth area there are quite a few unmarked cars. I got pulled on night driving back from the pub with some mates ( i dont drink ) THis complete bitch said i took a corner on 2 wheels and i told her she was talking 5hit cos i saw her come behind me at some lights when they were on red and i sat smack on the speed limit all the way round town, she hadnt got anything on me, she wanted me to admit to something i havnt done cos the second you confess they can do you, as i said she had no evidence cos i didnt do it. I actually wanted to join the police force untill a couple of years back as i dont agree with this sting the motorist 5hit, I drive up to 4000 miles a month and need my license, if i get a ticket it is the best part of a days wages down the drain. The problem you have is with 10 points you only need 2 more and you will be in court facing a ban, time to watch the speedo i think and back it off.

How come youve got 170bhp out of a 1.8 vtec? Supercharged? I bet you havnt declared those mods anyway so why bother declaring the points, i dont declare my mods, my little ford escort mark 6, 1.6 about 100hp is lowered, was chipped, k&n and a full stainless exhaust, uprated brakes, they wanted 1500 a year to insure and my present insurers wont touch modded cars, i dont even declare the stereo cos they want more for that. I know aguy who hasnt even got a driving license who buys cars with tax and mot cheap runs them till it runs out then gets rid of em. He had a crash and just ran off and left the car, it pisses me off that i tow the line yet he is untouchable re speed cameras etc. he has got away with this for 15 yeas odd now. He drives like a madman too

Funny, I've never been stopped while driving. What did you do when they tailgated you then? (rage)

I've never been stopped either. No offense Rage but people with moded cars get moded cars to drive around like pr1cks. I'm not surprised you get stopped, your ride is an advert for speeding, of course the police will stop you.

It's unmodded mate! The civic Vti 1.8 has 166Bhp as standard! Brilliant car! The 1.6 vti has a 157bhp as standard!

Surely your mate willget caught soon as some police have an on board computer that checks if the car is insured!

Get a Japanese car mate... much better than those fords! I currently have a Suzuki Swift Gti... it is a 1300cc and has 103BHP (standard :043: )! Twin cam, 16v technology in a 1990 car! lol...it's great fun. Cost me £250!

Here it is;

Wanna get one of these eventually tho;

Yes i would love a supra! oooooohhhh! Incidently not all drivers of modded cars are oricks, my mrs drives my car more than me and she is super steady, i only upgraded bits of my car when the old ones broke as it worked out cheaper than genuine ford bits.

Rage

Hmmm buckle on the rear left wheel, methinks somebody has oversteered up a kerb, cars like that have been thrashed the tits out of and many Jap imports are stolen from japan or clocked, he also has made a shit job of installing the stero subs although i wouldnt have them in a car like that cos extra weight slows em down ;)
