I have always wondered what my bodyfat percentage is? I am looking a little fat in these pics from bulking, but what would you say my % was?

I measured myself on my dad's Tanita body at scales and they reckon i'm 20%+ :046: .

They also think he is 20% but he is a fat bastard! (He is taller and weighs less tho). I'm thinking the tanita gives more like a Bmi than a bodyfat %... surely I can't be this high? :017:

You look about a 9-10%, a tiny bit leaner than me.

I would say 8%. Who am I to comment, I've never been below 11...

Cheers lads. Yer, I thought i would be about 10%. Why are the bodyfat scales so inaccurate... and how come they're allowed to sell them if they don't work?!

...My dad is absolutely convinced that they tell the truth!

Depends on the time of day you use them, hydration levels, food consumption, activity level...

to get any sort of accurate reading all variables have to be kept the same. day in day out. and even then the accuracy is crap. but at least that way you get consistent inaccuracy.
