Come on...give it to us!

Do you eat every 3 hours, or whenever you feel like it? (Can be 3 hours apart, or 5 hours apart)

Do you count and measure how much you eat, or do you just eat until you are satisfied?

What else do you do?

I pretty much follow:

- Eat every 3 hours (which is usually exactly when I'm really hungry)
- Try to get around 50g protein and carbs and a serve of fruit or veg each meal
- I'm not fussed about amino profiles of protein sources or GI's of carb source, I just get it down me now
- I have a serve of oily fish every night as my last meal

That's about it really.

- eat when hungry, usually every 2-4 hours max
- 1-3 protein shakes a day in the morning/prewo/pwo or other times
- 1 protein bar
- 4g fish oil each day
- try and eat tuna or chicken wherever i can

I gain really easily so when bulking I pretty much just eat what and when I want, which is generally every few hours and meaty. The flipside is that I struggle to cut so I've got to be quite disciplined. I'd not done it properly before and just ate less and it sort of worked, but this time I'm taking it a bit more seriously, counting calories (well, approximations) and what proportions are coming from proteins, carbs and fats. I'm eating low carb 5 days a week and boosting the carbs on 2 other days. Eating a lot of chicken/turkey, tuna and cod, and probably beef once or twice a week, lots of veg and aiming for one item of fruit a day. I have one evening a week of treating myself after I've weighed in otherwise I wouldn't be able to handle it.

i eat every 2-3hrs, and just make sure that every "intake" (i wouldnt call a shake a 'meal') has 30+ grams of protein. I adjust bidyweight by how much carbs i have in a sitting...

Not the most scientific but fairly easy and it pretty much works.

I concentrate my carbs in the morning and around strenous activity. When I am sedentary most of my meals are predominantly protein+fat based but with lots of fruit and veg. This has helped me lean out far more effectively than before and in a much healthily way as my appetite is easily satisfied, rather than relying on low-calorie sweetener laden foods to curb food cravings

My diet strategy:

- eating frequently, about every 2-3 hours, rather than big meals
- protein source on every meal, though don't have to go overboard with the protein intake
- minimise processed crap, maximise whole foods
- get used to eating healthy. Once you get used to something and incorporate it to your daily routine, it becomes a second nature and you don't have to think about it. This is one reason why i eat much cleaner and better during working days (more structured days).
- Always be prepared: have things with you if you know you are going to be away from home/desk etc for a while. If i get hungry, i end up eating crap, so better have something with me. Typical things i carry with me are hemp/peanut bars, soya chocolate drink, nut/seed mix etc. Something small but calorie dense.
- Minimise negative effects to others. Thats why i'm vegan ;)

5 meals a day and 1 gallon of milk. The secret to my diet is to eat your biggest meal of the day just before you go to bed at 2am.
