Which protein powders are you guys using these days, I havent used any for a months but I'm looking to buy some again.
I always used reflex in the past.
I have 10kg of TMOF unflavoured upstairs waiting, 2-3 kg of w.consortium and 2-3 kg of unflavoured Casein...I've been stocking my ass up ready for a powder famine!

what you do to your ass is of no interest to the forum, well apart from Bengdogg

Yes tell me more!
I dont use much whey imostly p/w shakes all in one is my weapon of choice
Dymatize elite for me, pina colada and butter cream toffee ~~~~
And i've got some Allin1 casein
My crib is full of All In One Banana Whey Concentrate. I think the next time that I order whey will be from MOF as they are ever cheaper.
it's a pelvic stability exercise...teaches me how to use my glutes correctly and hold the powder in!
Tip: Flavourless + a teaspoon or 2 (or 3!) of Options/Highlights hot chocolate, bit of splenda and 1/2 a teaspoon of coffee taste fappin' great!

Hurricane formula from "myprotein.co.uk"
It's an all-in-one formula protein, creatine and admions acids same as Maximuscle cyclon but 1/3 of the price.

cheers for that big guy, I've seen that site before actually.
I'm going to have a look through their different forumlas and give them a try.
Do you have them add any sweetners or flavours?
Had them add vanilla flavouring. With the amount of dextosn all ready in there I've found there no need for extra sweeter.

i'll just tip in to your whey thread, but i'm using pea protein isolate from:
www.nutrisport.co.uk (called 90+ VEGAN)
pretty damn good IMO, tastes like shit but other than that its great, lol!
I would love to buy that stuff, but even that is too expensive for my budget

i also went mad at xmas time and now have:
14kg -unflavoured whey TMOF
7Kg - unflavoured casein TMOF
10kg - flavoured whey ALL IN ONE
5kg - flavoured casein ALL IN ONE
140 sachets of meal replacement ALL IN ONE
1kg - creapure creatine ALL IN ONE
1 - creatine stack ALL IN ONE
1kg - glutamine ALL IN ONE
180 caps - zinc & magnesium ALL IN ONE
also got some glutamine, thermogenesis and gaba from TMOF lying around, some hydroxycut (a present from ages ago) aswell as about 30 viper extreme bars which are some months out of date.
i only use the protein and the meal replacements as i dont see the need for anything else at the moment. the above was an investment as it was going very cheap. :D

i know mate. What i do is buy the 5kg thing while i'm at it, works out the cheapest in the long run, though still slightly more expensive than the holland and barrets soya protein one. One tub lasts me ages though because i'm not too fussed about protein shakes any more (stopped taking them, and couple weeks later my strength shot up loads and i gained couple kg's of mass, lol!n coincidental i know, but goes to show that it's not that hugely important to get these shakes in all the time...)

So what do you usually consume pre and post workout?

So what do you usually consume pre and post workout?
pre - just some food 1-1.5 hours before, like nuts, hemp bar, bread, etc (usually at work at this time so limited choice).
post - this is where the shake is in its best element, and actually you get really used to it being there. So i still take a shake on most of my post training days. If not, then it is just straight to dinner. If dinner is ready when i come home (i should be so lucky!) then i wont bother with shakes.
But anyways, i think these protein shakes are overrated, and compared to all the money spent on them, just some real food would do much better.
TBH it's not expensive at all when you get 10kg unflavoured from TMOF for £40, its probably cheaper than real food.
Then again, its all about convenience for me.
