Well I did 1000m in 4.45ish the other day, but that was just cause I was bored so thought I'd row along with my client to keep her pace up. Never used the rower before.

There's 9 and a half minutes rest there, so all those distances have to be done in 90seconds :017:

In an momet of maddnes I deside to give this go. Boy glad I use the machine by the raleing's colud bearly stand at the end.

Time 12m 13sec
Mean hart rate 184
Rower set on level 9.

Not a bad time could to better. I was too slow over the 1000m thus need to go hell in the night over the next 750m and 500m.
Hope to inpove on this before the end of April.

1000 metres flat out his bloody hard in itself!

Still though, I could think of much more valid test for CV fitness in a rugby player

This wasn't the fitness test that was about a year or so ago. The supposed world wide test so all pro rugby players could be compared was shuttle runs over 5-10-15-20-25-30m a number of times (I think it was something like x1, x2, x1, x3, x2, x1 with 10secs rest in between) starting and ending lying chest down on the floor. Your total time and all split times were recorded so you couldn't pace yourself. You were supposedly meant to sprint them all. I almost died and wept like a baby :022: . Then we srummaged. :078:
