Whilst i'm KO'd to train I thought I'd do grip work to keep me going.

Routine is this:

Monday: Grippers
Tuesday : Rest
Wednesday: Plate Curls
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Grippers
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Rest

Then next week will start with Plate Curls, so each will be done 3 times every 2 weeks.
Don't wanna overdo it, so starting low and building up. As I start to get better/given confirmed diagnosis/cure will try and add different/more things.
Won't be an interesting journal but thought I'd post it anyways.

GRIPPERS

2x3 Closes
3x1 Close + 3 second hold
1x1 Close + 10 second hold

Was planning to do more but was feeling really shit so just did some light stuff. Have lost lots of strength through not being able to eat. But am starting to try and eat more now so hopefully will be on the mend.

PLATE CURLS

Sets & reps completed for both hands

Took this fairly easy as well, only doing 8 sets but was a good session. Love these though, they're wicked. Will just keep plugging away with it until I can do like 20 with 10 like Rob said and then move up in weight.

This was done over the whole day, lots of volume today, just did some gripping when I got bored at work. Wrists are starting to ache now tho!

Cool. Nice workout.

If you wan to you could apply the high frequency [synaptic facilitation] idea to your gripper workouts. Thats how I closed the #2 for reps at a bodyweight of about 155-160lbs (had about 10" forarms).

Shut the #1 10-30 times a day every other day. Do that for 3 weeks and the #2 is your bitch.

Sounds like a good idea. If I were to shut it 30 times a day every other day, how many reps would I do, or would I just do single closes?

Right from now on I will be doing 30 closes a day, every other day starting from tomorrow.

Start with less than 30. 30 is 2 an hour if your awake for 15 hours. Thats a lot. Work up to 30 overe time.

Just done 1 hour 45 mins yoga, and will do the same on friday. Will be doing 2 sessions a week from now on with a private yoga teacher who comes to our flat and teaches me and the missus. I really enjoyed it, looking forward to next session.
My flexibility is very imbalanced i found out. Hope it'll have good overall health benefits.

Still having pains, NHS is crud needs to sort itself out.
Did a session the other day but had serious pains after
Will start doing grip work when im on the up again.
Anyone know any good foods to eat when uve got a stomach ulcer?
