Ok.. I went into Halfrauds to get a part for my car stereo 2 weeks ago last Saturday.

They didn't have it in stock so they billed my card and ordered the item (apparently). They said it would be there by the following Sat for definate and they would call me.

By next Saturday i had no call so i went in and asked. They had no record of the part being ordered and apparently the guy hadn't done it properly of something.

They apologised and said it would DEFINATELY be there the following Saturday (two weeks from when i first ordered). They again said they would phone me.

They never bothered phoning me again (should have been Sat jst gone) and i am rather pissed off, my card has been billed for this item and it's put me overthe credit limit so i'm also getting a fine !

What should i do? I wanna go in and speak to the manager, get a refund on mycard. I also think i should get some form of compensation for all this hassle. They're a bunch of useless kids in there!

How should i address this issue (It will be three weeks next Sat and i know they won't have the part).

Ring your credit card company and explain, never pay untill the goods are recieved.

They should charge you when you recieve the goods, unless you have to pay a deposit.

The trouble is theidiot has already chrged my account! It was taken off nearly 3 weeks ago!

Can i still tell my credit card company (egg) to take the money back?

I think i should go in and demand to see the manager as this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced! Should get some vouchers in compensation or something....

yeah explain that they charged you to your credit card company and let them get heavy on em
