These are my ideas for my diet for when I start again. Any thoughts on quantities of food etc, my aim is to bulk up I'm about 190lbs atm.

Wake-up meal 30g protein whey
30-45 minutes later
Meal 1. 40g protein 50g carbohydrates protein source 3 slices wholemeal bread
Meal 2. 40g protein 60g carbohydrates protein source + 2 bannanas
Meal 3. 40g protein 75g carbhoydrates protein source + carbohydrate source
Meal 4. 40g protein 75g carbohyrdates protein source + carbohydrate source
Meal 5. 20g protein 35g carbohydrates ProFlapjack Bar
Meal 6. 40g protein 50g carbohydrates 2 pints milk + scoop whey

Total: 250g protein 350g carbs no idea of fat (minimum, not including milk and tea/coffee etc i might consume in between so probably an extra 20-g ontop of those figures

2-3 hours between meals.

Loads of water, pieces of fruit.

Post workout meal will be 50g whey and 60g glucose powder. Will replace a meal depending on time of the day

What do you reckon?

The biggest mistake anybody makesit is saying they are going to eat x amount of this macro nutrient, and x amount of that macro nutrient because that's what they think they need to do

What are you eating in a typical day at the moment?

Nothing really because I have a stomach ulcer! Waiting for that heal and then want to get back into it properly with a good organised diet (which I've never had before).

From now on start taking note of what you eat, and do this for a least a week

Yes

Jumping in straight at the deep end is a good way of getting fat or overwhelmed straight away

Small changes are only needed to produce the best results

Each day, post what you eat on a typical day, not worrying about the quality or the quantity, just to see if i can notice any patterns in your typical eating
