Just wondering what carriers you guys recommend in the UK as the only one you have that is also over here is Vodafone...

They are all shit.

Depends if you want pay as you go or contract really.

I use O2, always have done, I dont think there is much difference between them really.

Orange was my favourite network around the midlands, it is very good. and nokia for handsets, i have a motorola atm and want to go back to nokia at upgrade time

Phnes are for gays like my younger brother and my dad. He/they prolly have about 10 'cos they HAVE to have the latest model. They usually ebay all the old ones, but if you need one sharpish i'll ask if they have any going spare..

My mobile is like an SAS soldier - its been through two rivers, and been dropped in a bbq, but its still going strong. And its the size of your standard house brick.
DMPM - all much of a muchness really, but I would avoid the "Three" network if I were you, poor reception and service IMO. I use orange and find them ok.

I hate mobiles mate, haven't had one for years at home, but I want my family to be able to contact me when I'm not at work and I can't be arsed organising a landline.

There was something on tv the other day about O2 being the worst, so I'll stay away from them too.
