I've been training along these lines for a little while but as some of you know i have moved to thick bar training exclusivly for upper body this year, and i have actually got round to typng up what excersises i use, All i do is do one excersise from each area a session, i train when i want and i am at 5x5 or less for working sets presently. quite often i was only doin 2 excesises a session this will go up to 3 as i havnt done much core training latley
1: Squat/Front squat, Deadlift, Bench press, Military press,
2: Power Clean & press, Bent over Bb rows, Chins, Gm/Sldl
3: Bb curls, Reverse curls, Calf raise, Shrugs, Situps, Neck work, Leg raises, Side bends, Grip
cool, i've liked the look of your training when ive looked at your journal because i like the idea of doing 2-3 exercises as HARD as possible rather than 4-5 at less than maximal strength towards the end.
I'm gonna stick with my routine a bit longer, but maybe i'll do something like you do when I do change.

Yeah and as your a home trainer its ideal, i often do 5 short sessions a week and if i keep the body parts seperated properly i dont tire out
Do you do any grip work other than thick bar?

I have hand grippers, i bend the odd nail and i have my inch dumbbell trainer, my hands are so tired this week from doing everything with a 2" bar it is murder, i have lost a callous and split them doing clean and press which kill btw!
I really like the look of this bruva.
Do you have specific set/rep ranges for each exercise or do you just do what you feel like innit.
Wicked.
EDIT: also how did you decide on training this way? did it just happen or is there somewhere i can read more
Natural progression wasn't it Mart?

Yeah we all start out as bbers then follow our own path, dinosaur training is a bi influence, re the reps heavy and low never more than 5x5
Cool.
Now answer my question lol.

If you have microsoft word, i will email you both of my training documents which takes back over 12 months of time wasting and not gaining when i was at a chain gym, if thats what you mean, i just want to be strong and intend on maybe doing a 105 kg strong man even if i gain about another 20kg muscle and lose my fat i should be about that weight and realistically that is 2-4 years away so i should be ****in strong mofo by then
