Does anyone have an opinion, good or bad, on decent fats to buy from supermarkets?
Tesco have 3 for 2 offers on things like cod liver and omegas, but I often hear that some fats you buy (like flax) have this tendency to be 'rancid' by the time they get to the consumer. Any truth in this, and does it effect supermarket\holland and barrett fats?
Is it worth sticking with MyProteins fats instead?

Drink a bottle of EVOO a day. Sorted.

To be honest I hate the term "good fats". Most fat is good to various degrees aside from obvious things like trans-fats and refined veg oil, which should be avoided in any significant quantities, although these tend to be present in food everyone knows aren't good for them.

Fish Oil from anywhere is likely to fine, I've never noticed a difference in the supermarket caps to supp companies caps but go with the latter as they do better bulk buy deals.

As for supplemental fats I don't really bother (aside form fish oils), my diet provides most, and I use hemp oil, EVOO and walnut oil on salads etc.

I buy my coconut oil online
I buy my fish oil from MP
I buy butter and coconut milk (organic) from supermarket
I buy EVOO from the supermarker, look for the phrase "cold pressed"
