I've just received this e-mail from my friends at Muscle Building Nutrition...

Hi,

I apologise for sending out an email that is not specifically
based around why you joined our mailing list, for nutrition,
& training advice etc, but after having watched over 2 hrs
of coverage on the reality of the devastation , homelessness,
and general suffering of the victims of the Tsunami, I knew
that we needed to send out a brief appeal to all our subscribers
and hope nobody would take to much offence at the unrequested
email.

I know many of you have already donated, but please don't feel
because your seeing how much money is coming in on the news
that it's enough. Over 150,000 people have died, with 10x that
now without parents or a place to live. The devastation to homes
and business means that millions more now have no way to feed
their families or even live.

Even basics like fresh water are scarce, sanitation is near hopeless
for many. It's going to take a long time and a huge amount of money
to help these people back on their feet again, so please don't feel
that what's happening now is enough.

If you can afford just $10.00 you will be helping to save a life, it's that
simple an equation right now, the more aid they can get the more
medicine, foods, water, shelter, clothing etc they have. The more
people will actually be saved from death. Was there ever a more grim
equation? Money = saving a life. We have the power to stop
a human being from suffering or dying right now and it's a click away.

Here's a collection of very easy places you can donate from online.

Thank you

Great stuff! Come on please keep donating! Even if you've already donated please consider donating again.

As many people that have already been killed are expected to die again of disease.

There are more than FIVE MILLION people homeless. These people are also starving.

Your money will safe a life and be used to provide food, shelter, clean water, medical supplies, clothing etc.

Anyway, i'm sure you have seen the devastation on tv but you can get an idea of the devastation caused by watching the tv reports here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/world/2004/asia_quake_disaster/default.stm# ( about in the middle of the page on the right hand side click on 'Watch video reports on SE Asia quake devastation '.

You can see sattelite pictures of before and after the tsunami here ( most probably haven't seen this ) http://homepage.mac.com/demark/tsunami/9.html

I have £50 a month in direct debits going to various worth while charities. I will make a donation to the Tsunami appeal, but I just wanted to remind people not to forget about the other charities out there who still need help too.

P.S. Well done Boxer for bringing this to the attention of people on this forum.

Thanks Angel!

Rob, I haven't read that thread but ignore any negative comments. The world is full of a*se holes and unfortunately there is a high number of them that log onto the internet.

I wonder how they would feel if I knocked there house down, destroyed their possessions and business, starved them, gave them a disease, killed their family and just left them alone.

Well this is what's happening and more to these people. So please give generously! :023:
