had possibly the most lacklustre birthday "celebration" ever

went to a shisha bar with mates, our group were the only ones there, didnt know when the new year hit, went back to mates house to play flip cup and beer pong.

My highlight was a mixed meat kebab at 4am

This new year seemed low key.

I was in clubs in Newcastle and I don't even remember there being an announcement / celebration when it struck twelve. There wasn't much going down on the streets neither. Just a regular, but busy night out.

just for planes i think, and maybe the odd occasion I use the tube.

I take a nap on the train in the morning and like to be able to hear when my station is announced, so me noise isolating in-ears do the job on a day to day basis.
