View Full Version : Cerumen. Love. Flame. Toilet Roll.
I thought others may appreciate this Wikipedia image of a piece of human earwax, next to a lighter with 'LOVE' written on it, both placed on what appears to be a single sheet of quilted toilet roll. I know I did. Particularly the description on the main page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earwax), which reads 'Human earwax removed by irrigation (compared with a cigarette lighter)'.

It seems the original poster (a deranged German nurse, from what I can tell) has a history of using obscure objects for the purposes of size referencing - I give you packet of drugs + potted plant (though not sure which is supposed to be highlighting the immensity of which, as regrettably I cannot read German):

Self-shot photo of my girlfriend's earwax"
Unsettlingly, he appears to be suggesting that the earwax took its own photograph.
is your boss out of the office today then?
He is approximately 12-feet away, as the crow flies.
Geez dude! I'm only reading this now IC still on the banned list booo
I'm curious as to why you were looking earwax up on wikipedia?
Nobody should ever find out what makes Tim tick
I was researching self-syringing of one's ears, as I get quite ridiculous wax buildup. Something to which one gentleman off here is more than able to testify, having once eaten a flake made up of several month's worth of harvests. But that's another story.
Nobody should ever find out what makes Tim tick
Brilliant.
