This is annoying. And it's been getting steadily worse. Now, I've had disk problems before and I'm fairly sure it's not that again, but here goes.
For the last few weeks I've felt like one rhomboid and both lower erector spinae (more one side than the other) are tight all the time. By doing a weird hunchback stretch I've invented I can stretch my lower back, and it feels so good! But then the tightness comes back.
When I work out it feels like the biggest pump in the world in the lower back, to the point where I couldn't continue deadlifting last week (didn't hurt to deadlift, just stand up in between sets!) and I just went to try and do some hypers and had to stop due to immense painful pump.
I have tight hams, and since my last GM session they have certainly shortened more, but no matter what I do stretching-wise they always pop right back to where they are. I have lots of lumps, one huge one in my left B. Fem, feels like one of those drawing pins that are like a golf tee stuck in my leg.
I'm not kyphotic, don't have scoliosis, have a slightly exaggerated lumbar curve though.
Have just prescribed myself a course of ibuprofen to try and get the ****ers to relax! (Stretching and rolling them didn't help)
thoughts/similar experiences?
ps. The 'get to an osteo' advice isn't neccesary, I've been trying to avoid paying for it, but I have ME deads next week and need it sorted, so if he's not on hols I'll go tomorrow. Annoying though.
