This has gone beyond ridiculous, however Rips claims that his programme is THE only way to train and his claims regarding some of his trainees are vastly overblown.

I like Lyle because he calls bullshit on this sort of stuff, but this is kinda juvenile.

I don't know how many times I have said this, but Mark Rippetoe is a ****. His squats are shit. His athletes' squats are shit. His idea of what good squat tech is, is shit. He is shit. Crossfit is shit. That whole community of weak shitheads is shit. And I cannot believe all these shit shitheads are arguing over the legitimacy of claims that a celebrated strength coach has managed to get someone nine-feet-tall up to 240lbs skinny-fat, looking like an eighties thrash metal band throwback, with a 150x5 squat, shit.
