I dont know about you guys, but i get very annoyed with people ringing me, whe im at home offerig me stuff i dot wat, i am ow thouroughly asty, to these people, toight for example the phoe rigs, i aswer it ad i get "Hello are you Mr Newton?" I say "no you have the wrong number" (i get many calls for the Newtons i have only had my current home number 6 months and assume it belonged to someone called newton before). The guy the says "I know but are you the home owner?" at this point my reply was "Piss off and never call this number again!" I then hung up, these calls really get on my tits, i wish i could send and electric shock or somethin down the phone to them, thatd be fun

Yknow Henk i am already with these, all my and the mrs numbers are and they still ring me just as much! Thats part of the reason i am getting irate, Good link though and i recommend others use it just to see if it helps them maybe

It took a while for my calls to stop - a fair few months IIRC. Also, I've had the number for a few years so they couldn't use the "previous occupant/list out of date" excuse. It only works with companies that subscribe to the rules too.

I will just be less tollerant as they continue to call in the mean time and they can have some abuse :)

If your computer's near the phone then you can wind them up with some of these: Prank call soundboards (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/morepranks.shtml) . I couldn't resist trying them out on folk but beware, they're too addictive.
