I wish I had done a decent 3x8 routine for a few months when I started lifting.
I'm lucky in the sense that I started at 4x12 and over the months moved down to 3x6-8. I didn't gain nearly as much out of it as I have since I've started PLing though.

good post, bro. great way to start out. I wish I had someone to tell me this stuff when I was just learning.
