Ostlund is getting owned!!!

Anyway i think the final three are going to be Branch Warren, Vic and Toney Freeman. But rumour has it that Vic has screwed up his contest prep and isn't as heavy as he is claiming.

Sorry, i thought you were refering to the Arnolds Bodybuilding competition.

Seriously though is this on any of the obscure sky channels at all, at any point?

Vidas won the yoke and Derek was 2nd!

Sloth
07-03-2009, 20:44
surely thats gota mean derk has won.

going into the second day in second place, winning one event and coming second in the other. the lower stone option misha took would surely not have him anywhere near winning.

Derek won the dumbbell with a new WR of 15reps, Misha needed 10reps to won, he either got 8 or 9, 9th looked like an iffy lockout and a bit uncontrolled so not sure, but overall Poundstone has won the Arnold!

Sloth
08-03-2009, 09:51
gutted.

he got 8, apparently the 9th was after the clock.

How come Zavikcas didn't compete?

Also, is the circus dumbell 101kg? If so Poundstone is a freak!

Sloth
08-03-2009, 21:10
91 i think mate, even then. hes still a freak. alot of bad opinions out on him, but in all fairness, hes an incredible athlete.

not sure bout big z, he was there, i think he was just taking a year out.

Yeah gutted Koklyaev didn't win but Derek was always going to win the shoulder event. Ah well looks like the dum arrogant yank took it. Savickas had a year off, should be an interesting year next year though when he returns.

Also speaking to Terry Hollands yesterday he was telling me that all doors are now open for any of the old IFSA lot to compete in WSM this year. So fingers crossed.

Sloth

awsome. saying that, poundstone was ifsa also, so it looks like it was a favourite thing last year. would be awsome to see savickas bring the title back to europe, saying that... i think tel is gona be a **** of a force this year too. his OH has rocketed up and im not being funny but all his other events are ox strong. 420DL, 200 easy farmers, sick heavy yokes. :kinky:

Whilst Paul Woods (won yesterday) came across as being quite arrogant, I suspect his input into Terry's training is doing him the world of good.

Sloth
09-03-2009, 10:32
you're ****ing right it is.

ive seen him doing a 400 yoke quite easily on terry's utube page. for a 105, that is crazy weight.
