Who's done this before? I'm going to have a go today for the first time.

I'm going to use a dumbell. Do I hold it overhead with one arm or two?

Also, I think i'd prefer to start with short walks with heavy wieght so it's more for strength. So how long should I roughly be walking for?

If this is DB snatch and walk, then I do it quite often. I walk for about 5-10m and use as much weight as poss. Usually about 30-40kg.

i use about 15kg or so and do it for about 20m for rotator cuff work

Walk in a figure of 8 pattern both clock and counterclockwise for best cuff strengthening effect. Keep loads light-ish and duration moderate.
