View Full Version : Midrange Partials
Just wondering what peoples opinions are of this (http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/midrange_partials_for_the_best_pump_of_your_life) article and the proposed training method?
Tim, I imagine you would have some interesting comments...
I didn't read much beyond "the best pump of your life", but bodybuilders have been doing this for forever right? The problem will arise when idiots with no clue what they are doing decide they should do all their lifts like that,
FFS is this cock jockey who wrote it now deciding we should train like ronnie. why does this bollocks even need consideration, excessive strain on the knees for a start with that squat and any **** who doesnt get below parrallel needs a shoeing.
the GHR is beyond laughable.
its lame, very lame, i assume you think the same al?

For me would probably mean I would ungrease the grove.
Well, just to play devil's advocate, it isn't an altogether ineffective training method for bodybuilders. Increased time under tension...
However every molecule of organic matter in my body wants to choke the life from people who train like that, whether they have some faux science to back up thier methods or not.
well yeah it works to build size, thats what i meant by the ronnie thing, but it'd still create a weakness. you put a guy who practices this into a deep squat and hed lift half what he bobs up and down with.
As i thought, most people agree with my feelings on this way of training. i was just astounted to hear it coming from a supposed 'performance training specialist' i mean, does he want all his football players huge but not able to move? Oh wait, is that not the norm...
