I have a trial for this program: http://www.uksport.gov.uk/tlc/

It's not until Feb so I'm not going to worry too much until after the Europeans but would like to spend a few weeks practicing movement patterns that will probably be in the test.

What kind of things would be worth practicing? They already said there's going to be an endurance event and we can pick running, cycling or rowing. I would expect there to be some kind of jumping/leaping. Probably lifting, what kind of lifts should I expect them to ask us to do? Any other events you can think of?

I'm hoping the tests will be max squat, max dead and max sprawls for time :ninja:

Looks fantastic Esther. Would they expect you to be doing oly lifts?

On a similar note are you near any of the UKA centres of excellence and could you get any training there? I know a couple of guys on another forum are getting trained by Brian Hammill (top oly coach) at one of the COE in london.

I hope there'll be no oly lifts because I don't know how to do them! Will look into COEs in London.
