Right, so I'm going to begin a full body program tonight, but am still up in the air about the set/rep scheme. On the one hand, we have our friend Bruce Kubick's 4x5 pattern (each set progressively heavier) and on the other we have the standard 3x5 with the same weight.
I'd like to add a little size with my strength gains so I'm leaning toward the 3x5 with the same weight, but Kubick's seems like it might allow for some easier recovery.
What's everyone think?

Difficult one, my initial thought would be to do 3x5 but then doing progressively heavy is cool too.

Probably change it depending on the exercise.

I was thinking something like that too. For the excercises where strength is the main objective - bench, squat, deads - I think I'll try the progressive sets, then do 3x5 for everything else.
If it goes well, I'll post a journal.
