View Full Version : Filler stuff

I'm going to be working out a couple of lunches a week on top of my normal gym stuff. This may be on days when I'm going to train "properly" in the evening. Anyone got any suggestions for low strain stuff to do?

I'm thinking
- reverse curls (assist my grip)
- plate pinch
- rear delt raises
- Scap pushups
- band pull aparts
- Side bends
- If day after an upper body session then high rep upper compound stuff
- PMSH
- Back extensions on bench with mate holding on my ankles
- Lower trap raises
- X band walks

I'm thinking low strain is the best idea but if anyone has alternative ideas please chip in, don't really want to do any lower stuff as my lower movement prep will take a large chunk out of the available time period.

Cheers

^^Yep, that or if you do go to the gym: Cycle sprints. I read an article recently advocating circuits of pre-hab exercises that you have already noted above to decrease the chances of injury and get a good sweat on too.

Sorry forgot to say, am training with a mate - so will be spotting/encouraging him to actually go to the gym - so I'll be there, I'll have to do something no willpower to just stand there!

Thanks guys

So you'll be including some upright rows then...
