I'm looking for an alternative to the 5 scoops oats, 1 scoop whey , banana+ honey shake i'm having at the moment as i'm getting through 3 a day and it's boring. Also, I think i should up my intake of non saturated fats. If anyone has any ideas for some similarly calorific and preferably high fat shakes then post away...

Awesome, hadn't thought of avocado or ground nuts. How does that litle combo taste?

Is that 50g of pure flaxseed oil or Linseeds ground up?

I'd do 25g casein 15g whey - cheaper and has a better amino profile.

Not tried it all together, I'm not really after calorie-dense foods, though avocado, mango, skimmed milk, ice, whey and sweetener is one of my favourites.

Nothing wrong with Saturates mate, just avoid poly's in high doses. As the others have already mentioned cream, olive oil, avocado etc are all good choices, also beleive it of not whole raw eggs, awesome amino profile and good fats. I use a lot of Tesco's organic coconut milk, You can get 2 x 330kcal servings out of the 400ml can, each with 34g of good fat for ya and only costs 89p.

Good recipe off T-Nation that I've used and is nice:

1/2 cup water
2 scoops chocolate flavored Whey or protein mix.
1 oz pecan halves, chopped
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 serving Greens+
1 cup egg whites
1/2 cup ice cubes

Tastes GOOD.

Cheers for the suggestions guys.

ATZ it's not that i'm trying to avoid saturates, just that that I eat so much in the way of cheese/eggs/pizzas/mayonaise etc that i fancied a bit more variation.

grounded linseeds

It gave me stomach ache last time I had a big serving of ground linseed. They certainly take some work to digest.

1 serving Greens+

Tastes GOOD.

I refuse to believe that anything with Greens+ in it 'tastes GOOD'...

I use NOW Green Phyto Foods (http://www.cheapuksupplements.com/shop/product.php/376/green_phytofood), or this (http://www.good4you.co.uk/store.asp?pid=2). Its a luxery supp tbh and I only really use it when I know I'm not gonna be getting my daily dose of veggies or when I'm not eating enough - such as on a cut etc. Tastes like grass but in aforementioned shake it nigh on undetectable, you do feel "good" after taking it though. Aparently there's merit to taking it in a PWO Shake due to its alkalizing properties.
