The gist of it..
IronMind has just received official word that Mariusz Pudzianowski has been disqualified from the 2004 World's Strongest Man contest "for a breach of the new IFSA Strongman Health Policy."
Oh dear me.....

I take it he won then, and now has been stripped of his title, we dont get to see it till new years day do we?
I think it's the run up to Christmas that we see it. As soon as I see when it's on I'll post a thread about it. It's always in the TV mags and my wife gets heat so it should be in there..
I don't think he won it this year I can't remember. I know it's happened already, he got stripped of it because of a drug test. It kind of sounds like rec drugs as opposed to performance enhancing..
Lets hope if it is rec drugs, he sorts the problem out because he is an awesome Strongman..
Politics is the reason. Mariuz didn't like the top dog in the IFSA, so the nob head changed the rules and events to suit others. Mariuz came 3rd IIRC.
He is now banned form the IFSA.
Its totally fcuking homosexual. Its like Arnold wanting to give somethign back to the sport, so he said at next years Arnold Classic the prize fund would go up by $100k of HIS OWN money. Joe-"I wank over pics of young men in thongs"-Weider says no cos his Olympia has to be the biggest and best, blah blah. Bottom line, its the athletes missing out.
Fcuking metros.

yeah he came 3rd this time round.....
SURELY the DQ cant of been 'cos of gear, theres no way they're drug tested....must have been having a joint on his farmers walk!!! :033:
Fcuking metros.
hear hear!

It's merely a "token banning" - agreed politcally driven , but nothing serious
The IFSA are already saying his ban will be lifted early if he plays along with the rehab
All happened for two reasons IMO
1) To assert the IFSA's "health policy" The IFSA needed a scapegoat to prove to potential TV contractors that they are doing something about the drug thing ( brought about by the Death of Johnny Perry etc )
2) To punish Pudz for the Strongman Polska Buisness
I am just glad that Pudz was beaten fair & square BEFORE this came to light , otherwise his followers would have been bleating on about how "he was robbed " for eternity !
Is he supposed to be harming himself with AAS, other performance drugs or rec. drugs?
I'm gutted :022: by this news! Mariusz Pudzianowski is awesome to watch...
I wonder which drugs he's been fiddling with....hmmmm

.......and where can i get said drugs!?
The bit that makes me think it's recreational drugs is...
"The athlete has agreed to enter into a rehabilitation program administered by IFSA Holding's medical team that starts 20th of November 2004,"
