Just thought I'd recommend something that may be useful to some of you.

I've been doing a lot of endless rotating for a few hours before falling asleep recently, and have tried melatonin, ZMA and even nytol with virtually no effect (on sleep).

Yesterday I was looking in the herbal tea section for something else, and I saw Clipper Sleep Easy tea.

This stuff REALLY works - I drank it then tried to stay up for a while to finish up something I was doing but felt really sleepy, so went to bed - next thing I know it's 10.5 hours later!

Ingredients are all herbal: cinnamon, chamomile and valerian. Cost is under 2 quid for 20 bags.

Recommended.

I have a colleague with some "issues" at the moment and he's taking valerian and zinc and is sleeping "better than he has for decades".

Yep, got it from Tescos (who didn't have what I actually wanted, but never mind..)

Thanks for the tip, may give it a try if I have issues. I currently use ZMA and it seems to be working for me.

Thanks. I've worked shifts for 7 years and my sleeping patterns are horrible. I will try this out.

I get a similar effect from most non-caffeinated hot drinks. I drink a lot of Bovril before bed but decaff coffee does the same for me (although it is the spawn of the devil).
