Anyone want a CoC#3? £12 delivered. I'll never close the bastard thing!
I'll take it!
What's your PB on other grippers?
5 reps on the CoC#2, I've no interest in it tbh though. Drop me a PM and we'll sort this out then.
Cheers Aled. Received!
I can crush them to parallel for 2 reps.
Tougher than expected? Tis a beast...
It's actually lesser resistance than expected to be honest. It's slightly easier than an HG300.
HG300 is supposedly 300lbs and the CoC#3 is 280lbs.
I was at the same stage a few years ago with the #2 which I could only crush to parallel. I'll keep at it!
HG's are not in lbs. it is simply a measure of which is harder. HG300's are normally actually easier than a 3. obviously not from my expreience, but this is all over grippermania, gripboard etc.
The number of a Heavy Grip gripper denotes the supposed poundage. See the chart below.
It's for this reason I bought the #3 from Aled - to work with a gripper which is by theory 20lbs less resistance than the HG300.
i know what is says there mate, but from grip geeks that check em with calibration devices etc, the 300, is def not as strong as the #3.
the HG's calibration when they're made is shit. nothing against you for buying them mate, i have the set too. this is just what has been said by the guys in the know about hand strength.
though atm i cant log on to the grippermania site, so can't verify it.

His Slothness is correct here Webby. I used to check grippermania when I first got into grippers and they all agree on the above, there is a table they came up categorising all differnt forms of grippers from HG's to RB's, CoC's even the Ivanko supergripper I think into different difficulty levels.
I realise the calibration of the HG's is poor. There's reported differences between the same number HG grippers in some instances, so the difference between the CoC#3 and HG300 is going to vary too.
I take your word for it. I don't browse the grip boards much. If I'm feeling stronger with the CoC#3 than I am with the HG300 which is reportedly a heavier resistance then it's all good! It might just be a simple case of the CoC's having better knurling which might reflect upon my grip strength somewhat.
I've just had another shot of both grippers and theres no way the CoC#3 is more resistance than this HG300 I have. I got a second opinion on it too.
I can only assume that I have a pair of HG300's of a higher resistance than everyones elses!
