Alright guys I've been doing sidebends but I'm starting to fcuking hate them.

Is this a suitable alternative?

Can you answer the following for me:

1. what height should i do these from? floor? knee? higher? lower?

2. what sets/reps do you recommend?

3. roughly what should i be able to lift based on a deadlift 1RM of 150kg?

Cheers.

Hmm never done em but i have done dumbbell deads and know that i can grip less than 50% of my 1rm on a db, that will be a faCTOR

Why do people need to ask "what should I be able to lift?". Just pick the ****ing things up and you'll soon find out!

That wasn't the sole reason I asked.

I asked because I wanted to know what I should be lifting.

How can you base results on one lift using a barbell with palms facing in different directions to using dumbells with palms facing inwards? Just pick them up a few times and you'll soon see what you should be lifting.

I hate SCDL. I perfer 1arm DL, not quite the same, but just as effective IMO.

Yep, preferably with thick handled dumbells if possible too - it'll give you one hell of a grip.

I use a 2.5" DB and a 2" bar. Neither of which have knurling, 'cos knurling is for FAGS!
