View Full Version : morning shake
I don't know if everyone already knows this or not, but I didn't so I'll post it up anyway.
I've tried blending oats, protein and water/milk together and it just doesn't work. I've also tried just straight mixing it together and that doesn't work either.
To get round this blend the oats up on their OWN. It takes a minute or two to get them blended right down to sawdust consistency though. I've just blended a load and put them into a tub.
Put two scoops of whey and 3-4 spoons of oats into a glass, add water or milk, mix and enjoy :033:

I believe it was Robert who called that the "secret weapon". I started it about 3 weeks ago. Usually manage 2-3 per day ... great way to increase calories without turning into a pig.
Yeah I remember now thats where I got it from.
But I tried putting oats and whey together in a blender and it didnt work properly.
So I tried blending the oats seperately and it worked :)

Yeah, I did the same thing first couple of times. It's like drinking whey flavored cement. :019:
