For someone who has just finished reading Dinosaur Training and still being, what i consider anyway, somewhat inexperienced strength training wise, what could i expect from this book and would it be of benefit to me or way over my head?

EDIT - anyone?

I've only had a glance through the book so I can't say too much but it seems to cover just about everything involved in weight training except diet and goes into great detail. It's supposed to be quite a heavy read but the parts I've read were understandable enough and shouldn't go over your head if you have a basic knowlage of physiology and training. The book would be of more use to someone who had been training for a long time since they would be more likely to implement the training methods.
You're always better to have a greater knowlage of training theory so that as you get bigger and stronger you're training can keep up with it.

Is it more weights then anything else? I got sh1t load of uni books which are good but not specific to weights, they are more general. Dunno if it's worth getting.

I'd say at least half the 480 odd pages are about strength training. There's a couple of guys on this site who've read the book and might chip in with more details.

I would agree its better for someone with good training experience/knowledge, i dont think it would be a great read for a newbie.

Def worth buying though for now or the future.
