As I said on MSN earlier, I kept dropping my hands and getting hit in the head.....I preferred the hitting in the head to holding my arms up!
Are you doing it for MA or just for CV?

Both. Long term plan of fighting MMA is really conflicting with PL, but while I am not peaking for a comp I am trying to improve my skills and keep some fitness at least. I think plan could be:
1. get elite total
2. Train more seriously for MMA
Imagine how hard I'd hit at solid 110k with 240 bench and 340 dead
give me a O
give me a U
give me a C
give me a H
give me a YOU BASTARD THAT REALLY HURTS

I hear you did RPM the other day and found it easy.
If you had the resistance on fully, all through the class even for sprints, it would of been bloody hard work.
I teach loads of Indoor Cycle Classes, and there is no way that would of been easy if you had the resistance turned up full wack!

It was easy until I turned the resistance up ten turns and could barely move the wheel without standing up. Then it got a bit hard.
Why would I have the resistance all the way up all the time when they tell you when to go up and down? Won't be doing it again anyway, just bored in my week off and thought I'd give it a try, doesn't count as training IMO

Probably doesn't count as trainining to you coz you are not fit enough!!!!!!

I clearly am though since it was easy. Anyway fitness is not important to me.....
New training cycle, thought I'd attach it like this since Narc reckoned it was so impressive http://iron-city.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Working in the gear a lot basically alternating DL and squat and raw and shirted bench, going 3 > 1RM week 1 and 1RM week 2. Only listed ME and assistance so far.

02/07/05 - Errr...
50/20 Power Clean: 60k/101 reps in 20 mins
Ok...so....was bored and didnt want to do another DE session so thought I'd give the 50/20 thing a bash again. Put 60 kilos on the bar as was planning to do clean and press, but after 4 reps realised that wasnt going to happen! Thought I might as well carry on....
Got to 50 reps with 9:32 to go.....so thought I'd try for 100 before the time ran out. Had been doing triples/doubles towards then end of the 50, decided to up it to fives then rest for a bit then go again, which was ok, then at 90 had 2 minutes left so just went singles every ten seconds.
Everything hurts now.
ps: worst. power-cleans. ever. (form) ..hit a sweet spot about 30-50 reps where I was actually doing cleans, then they turned into a sort of suplex with no dip to catch but a big lean back :)
One wonders if the oly-style lifts are perhaps not the smartest choice for 'the 50/20 thing'.
