Anyone do these?
never really thought about it. Wouldn't you only get 4 or 5 reps per 20s? I tend to do sets of 10+

you'd get more than that
yeah fair enough i was way out. i was actually sad enough to go get my KB and see how many reps i could do in 20s. 12. I'll give them a go some time soon

lmao, right well report back Mr Chi
Yep, done them, enjot them. Favorite exercise for tabata if there ever is such a thing. Used 16kg and a 20kg KB in the past, up to about 14-16reps per work set. Hamstring death after....

ATZ, would one need a heavier or lighter DB than a KB? Would have thought a KB would be harder...
Am trying to get the courage to add these in!
you would need a heavier DB due to the positioning of the weight. I would guess a 20kg DB would be a suitable sub for a 16kg KB
When i started to do Single arm DB swings and snatches earlier this year the general reaction in the gym was probably greater than if i had done 3 bicep exercises naked so be warned. Obviously ignore that comment if you don't use a commercial gym

Yeah, 20kg DB would be a good place to start, if any idiots challenge what you're doing tell them to have a go themselves! Its a great exercise, just make sure you maintain good form doing them, keeping your chest up helps - if your not feeling them bad in the glutes and hams you've got the movement wrong. :023:

i find it works best if i do it naked
Thinking about what i said some more.....just ignore it.....no other gym can be as bad as mine.
I have never seen any other person:
Push press
Clean
Jerk
Deadlift
Good morning
front squat
overhead squat
zercher anything
DB swing
single arm DB snatch
prone row
face pulls
any scap pre/rehab exercise
in fact any kind of movement prep
However i did witness the new trainer setting the following program
cable curl
single arm row
ez curl
preacher curl
squat in smith rack
reverse flies
i left at that point
Where can i find a training establishment like that!!!!! Bit like the program the guy at Total Fitness gave me when I said I'd like to get stronger and more powerful on the rugger field, all its missing is: Grappler 3 x failure. Sorry state of affairs when people aren't even shown how to squat.....
oh i can beat that by a fooooooooooookin mile.......i'll get the routine i was set Jan 06 (4 months b4 i found aff sups & then here) from the gym tonight and post it. Its a real treat i tell ya!!
i find it works best if i do it naked
Do NOT feel the need to prove that, okay.I still am scared when I think about the keg video in your back garden you sent me.... :023:
