Hey all,

Got a pristine beginners set for sale (#1-3 still in protective plastic). These are great for training at home, prehab and adding resistance / assisstance to movements. Up for sale as I bought two sets to use in pairs but doubt I'll ever use them in this manner.

Will be sent recorded delivery, £32 or nearest offer within reason That makes me a couple of quid cheaper than buying online! Pickup available if local to North Wales / Chester area.

If I don't get any interest here their going on ebay by the weekend.

Ye, but I think ATZ is just selling one of each and not pairs, which is what you've linked to. Maybe wrong tho.

They are the same bands but only in singles i.e one of each #1 - 3. I bought a full set in January but to date haven't seen the need to use them in pairs for resisting squats or deads etc. Have to say they are very good for prehab work at home though - External Rotations, Pullaparts, Any kind of raise, twisting torso movements, and guns of course!

Within reason? Come on, their brand new. I'd prefer to keep them for that.

How can you not use them in pairs for those exercises ?

Do you mean you've just not used them for squatting or deads at all ?

Stand on the band.

ATZ, might as well put them on eBay now, this thread is a waste of time.

well ATZ, I thought the offer is reasonable enough, what you are asking for is half price on what the pairs are going for.....and with singles, you cant even do a third of the exercises you can do with pairs. Gud luck bud!

Ye, well it seems obvious to me to use them in pairs if you've got them.

Thread not such a waste of time tho it seems...

i "think" that they were available through SS from Alex who had given up selling them as it was no longer profitable. Therefore its only London Kettlebells or America if i'm correct

I've messaged him to check when he might get some in. Checked LKB (cheers for that) but they're out of stock too, so I'm waiting to hear when they might get some too. I'll have a look across the pond and see what's available in case, thanks chaps.

A lot of stuff is getting checked and customs costs claimed.I got caught for £18 on some hair stuff for the wife and am still waiting for some boxing gloves and stuff from the USA.A girl at work said she was chatting with someone in GPO and he said that they are stopping about 3/4 of the stuff now and charging...although if it has on the label that it is a present of less than $35.00(?) it shouldnt have a charge upon it.

Cheers Webby, but blimey, that looks pretty pricey! I'll have a butchers on eBay on the off chance, then may have to look further afield. Was hoping to only pay around £50 or so...

Regards customs....

2.3 Are import duties and import VAT always payable?
No. Customs duty is waived if the amount of duty is less than £7.

Import VAT is not payable on:

commercial consignments eg goods purchased over the internet with an intrinsic value not exceeding £18, but this does not include alcohol, tobacco products, perfume or toilet waters
gifts, excluding alcohol, tobacco, perfumes and toilet waters, with a value not exceeding £36 and which comply with the rules shown in paragraph 2.4.
There are a number of other circumstances where relief from some or all customs charges may be available. If you think your goods may be eligible for a relief you should contact the National Advice Service for further information.

top ^2.4 Gifts
Goods sent as a gift are not free of import duties and import VAT. However, customs duty will not be collected if the amount is less than £7, and import VAT is not chargeable if:

the value of the gift does not exceed £36
the customs declaration is completed correctly
the gift has been sent from a private person outside the EU to a private person(s) in this country
the gift is for the use of either yourself or your family
there is no commercial or trade element and the gift has not been paid for either directly or indirectly
the gift is of an occasional nature only eg for a birthday or anniversary.

Thanks for that Tone. So most companies presumably won't be kind enough to mark the package as a gift costing less than £36. That plus postage is probably going to make somewhere from the states just as expensive... Hopefully LKB will find a lost pack at the back of the warehouse for me!

Lol, just had an e-mail from them saying this ^ ^ happened! £60 delivered is still reasonably pricey but they'll be versatile so should be worth it. :023:
