View Full Version : Tones COC
Being serious does anyone have a trainer or Sport COC they would like to sell on at a reasonable price?Cheers.
And Andy, exactly why do you want ab slings.Might have something else to suggest instead if I can picture what you want them 4.

Tone stop being a fag and get a #1 CoC at least, the sport and/or trainer is a waste of time for anyone who has ever lifted weights.

*Minces into thread*
Ah,you see you just jumped over a wall without looking and found out that the drop is 50 foot on the other side. :016:
I already HAVE a #1 CoC and can close it several times, and I have a #2 CoC too but am about 1 inch to half inch of closing that-funny thing is I bought it a few days back and the next day the thread about how to close a #2 went up-didnt post in it as I thought it looked kinda funny saying that I got mine at virtually the same time as that thread started.Odd coincidence though!!
I want the Trainer/Sport for the wife because she is trying to get her grip stronger and the #1 is too hard at the moment for her, plus she can then use the Trainer/Sport as a warm up before her working sets on the #1.So there!!! :016:
But thanks for the advice anyway.I'm just scared what the missus could inflict on me with her wanna-be hands of steel.....
*winces not minces outta thread*
Ah right! Sorry bout that, should have known better.....
P.S They're quite cheap brand new on ebay.
Bout £20 from ultimate grip or Ironmind-just wondered if anyone had stepped up and no longer used their sport/trainer and wanted to sell it on for a £10 plus postage. She lifts but weighs in soaking wet at about 1/2 my body weight so I think she would be delighted if she could ever close a #1.And I would be impressed and rather scared too...
Oh yea, sorry Andy.If you wanna edit this and put it into another thread,Thats fine mate.

Stop boasting.
Well the Sport is 80lb,the trainer is 100lb and the no1 is 140lb.She would probably be okay with the trainer(100lb) even if she cant quite close it,gives her something to aim 4(apart from my head). She can move the no1 but is a bit off being able to fully close it yet.
Funny ,I have a no2 CoC that is supposed to be 195lb to close and a "heavy grip " one at 240lb but I am a tiny bit closer at closing the "heavy grip" than the CoC2.
If you dont mind Andy and you are willing to sell it,could you bring it on Sunday and she can see how she gets on with it?If you can find it that is...

yeah no problem, have to see if i can find it, havent used it for a long time, practically unused, i dont like grippers they hurt my little hands
tone, the HG's are not pound rated 'per se', they are apparently just numbers to guide, i too have the HG's, a full set and the 240 (although mine says 250)is a much smoother and easier close than the #2, which i find needs a more explosive close.

i have, on more than one occasion and in 2 different countries, took my trainer in to the gym with me and found that the vast majority of people cannot shut it, nor get anywhere near close.
the only people that i found that it was too easy for them were some grapplers and a polish builder, who gave the No.2 a good bash, close but no cigar.
