I need to regain my fitness as i return to summer buffness and as my ankle is stil a bit shaged i cant go jogging or owt, do you think if i did just 20 mins light on the trainer after lifting it would be ok, i could use this time to drink my whey and reflect on how wonderful people are :046:
Yeah fine mate, I found 10-15mins of HIIT after training had a big effect on fitness.

The thing i find is if i think, today i will do some cardio i wont do it. But if i plan to lift i lift then your all fired up you finish your weights, your already in your training clothes so 20 mins cardio takes literally 20 mins, not 40 with changing into gym clothes etc so its defo easier to do motivation wise
When I was cutting last year, I did all my cardio after my weights. I don't think it's as catabolic as people make out, especially if it's low intensity.
I'm sure early morning would be better, but I was never going to get up an hour earlier and go to the gym for just a cardio session.

how many times a week are you doing the cardio? I was hoping to do just twice a week for 20 minutes on the cross trainer as intense as possible after weights. think it would have much effect or should i try and make it 3 times?

Hard to say atm, i am doing zero sessions a week with only mountain biking for cardio, i suppose itdepends on your goals, most people dont even walk anywhere these days, so 2 sessions is way more than a lot of people do

yeah I will give it a try anyway. can only help improve my health if nothing else. I'm currently about 15% BF and hope to get down to about 10-12% if possible. To achieve this would I need to cut out CEE?

Nah cee shouldnt effect things, if anyhting it should help stamina, iir the rule with getting cut on creatine was to stop taking it 2 weeks befor eyou go on the beach or whatever as this gives you time to lose the water you retain

Kill your own then
I think I might start doing this as well, I've got no motivation to go out and do cardio. I might start with an empty bar.

grab an olympic bar stick 5 mins on the clock and just go, doing 5 reps of a random lower body exercise, then upper then lower, just make it up as you go along
I tried something like that last week, the front squat to push press gets the heart racing.
