Anyone ever ordered from them before? If so was it a 'pleasant' experience?
Did you have to pay any inport tax and how long did it take to arrive?
Cheers :023:

Christ no. I ordered a suit from them in November, in fairness i cliked the wrong material but quickly sorted it out with a phone call. It hadnt arrived by mid Jan so i called them. They'd never sent it. Appologised and re-sent it. I had a comp and it obviously didnt arrive in time. It did actually arrive (import tax free) about 2 weeks later. I needed to get a diff size, it was too small, i contacted them and they never replied to any emails i sent. When i actually rang them they were fine helpful and the rest of it.

That makes it sound considerably less frustrating than it was. I think they're probably ok as long as you dont rely on email as your form of communication cos they never replied to any of mine. I cant think of much apart from Metal PL gear that they sell that you couldnt get somewhere over here?

Man... Metal stuff is MADE in Finland. I told you you'd be better off ordering from them. Ordering something made in the EU via the US is just silly.

And yeah, unless you were after a GHR or reverse hyper, don't see what they could have that you couldn't get here.

just like a few of their shirts etc. quickly running out of clothes and found they had some really decent lines for cheap, starting to second thought it now though, postage seems to be more than the actual merchandise every time.

don't forget if buying from outside of the EU and your goods are stopped by customes you have to pay

VAT of 17.5% on top of the price of goods AND postage

then you also have to pay

Import Tax on top of the price of goods, postage and VAT

I enquired about brining an Arc'teryx jacket over from canada recently and i believe the import tax on clothing is currently 12%

So a £50 item of clothing with £20p+p would cost another £12.25 in VAT and £9.87 in import tax - a total of £92.12

yeah ordering t shirts from them is probably not great economy wise. if you want lifting t shirts you can get titan ones from www.goodlift.cz (though they are also a ballache to deal with cos they only accept cheques) or www.gometal.com

To the original question - I've bought bands and literature from them a couple of times and they've been no trouble at all. They replied to all my e-mails promptly as well, although they were products enquiries rather than complaints, which might have been why.

That said, not sure it's worth ordering a few shirts from them.
