If you could start weight training again with the knowledge you have now, what would you do differently?

For me:
- Sort out my weak core and awful posture before deadlifting and squating
- Deadlift and squat with propper form
- Do external rotations

I think if I had done those three things I would be in much better shape now.

So you'd follow 'intelligent training for beginners' then?

EDIT: would you also reply to emails before making posts on forums?

What I would do different would depend on what I wanted to do, if I was trying to wrestle I would have done more dynamic/plyo work and kept my BF% down concentrating more on relative strength, if it was PL I would have ignored looks and piled on the weight and kept buying smaller equipment!

Maybe balance out the routines a bit more but apart from that,i wouldnt changed much because through exploring,i now know what works for me and more importantly the level of imperfect diet, rest and training,I can get away with and still progress.
