Actually bought this Gi off Warrior-One through eBay. I've not been doing very much gi training recently so the main attraction for me was the price.

Most gi/kimono hybrids are a bad choice for jitsuka as the cuffs tend to be much too large for BJJ, resulting in easy ownage if you're not careful, but this one seems to be much better suited to BJJ. Both the top and trousers seem pretty solid and should stand up to the rigors of BJJ training for a while, despite Warrior-One not being one of the established or preferred brands for BJJ kimonos.

The length of the body of the top seems to be rather greater than you'd normally expect in a BJJ kimono. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing yet: I expect it will depend on how much you and your opponent know about sneaky gi chokes.

Two gripes about the gi include the colouring, which is fading after only a few washes and is likely to turn to light grey in the near future, and the sizing: The size that I was advised to order by the company is far too large to me. That said, I have managed to shrink it in a succession of hot washes to a more acceptable size, so perhaps they were accounting for shrinkage.

Verdict: Not one of the higher-quality kimonos from the established kimono companies, but a decent piece of kit for occasional gi training and great at the price.
