I bought one of these after discovering the speed with which a knee to the groin could open my guard.

It's a good product offering a whole load of nad-guarding protection.

Having made the mistake of buying a size too large in anticipation of putting on 20lb when I start weights again, I was worried that they might move around too much (a trapped bollock when rolling wouldn't be much fun), but they were fine even despite the sizing issue. Stayed in place throughout an hour and a half's training and three rounds of sparring and hardly knew I was wearing it for the most part.

The 'glorified cycling shorts' design also has the advantage of preventing friction burns on your upper legs when sparring, which can't be a bad thing.

Given the strength of the pound vs. the dollar right now, they're cheap as chips. Probably cost about £15.00 total, delivered to an address in US. Not sure what shipping to the UK would be like though.

All in all, a good bit of kit for martial artists. :023:
