Okay friends, here it is: just got a standard blood test at the doctor's and while my cholesterol is only a little bit high, my triglycerides are over double what they should be - not good at all! So, I have to somehow figure out how to maintain my calorie and protein levels and consume enough carbs so I can train, but not give myself a heart condition in the process. Don't know what the hell I'm going to eat. Don't even know where to start. My usual diet has tons of eggs, sandwiches, burgers, cheese, etc. ... HELP!
Tuna, fish, lean white meats (chicken/turkey), whey
also try tofu, rice, beans, peanuts, lentils etc.

twice a week have a ll treat a pizza or something but keep it clean like rage says and you will improve no doubt
I am using a bag (200g) of unsalted mixed nuts+rasins a day to aid bulking ATM. Each bag has nigh on 1200kcals, 30g protien and only 10g (90kcals) of that is saturated fat.
Also, go for more fish. I don't think that red meat is as bad as people make out either. I rarely eat white meat (the only time is when its in curry format) and I don't seem to have any problems.
Also, for a quick kcal atom bomb try extra virgin oliveoil in water/juice in the morning. I find it difficult to eat anythign resembling healthy in the morning, so that seems to help keep my energy levels high until I can stomach something better for me.
Lastly, my secret weapon has been 50-100g powderd oats (porridge oats in the blender for a few seconds) and 50g whey in 1 pint of milk. Its close to 1000kcals, has nearly 85g protien and practically no sugar or fat at all. 3 of those a day and your laughing.
Good luck. Keep a diet journal too, that seems to help me.

Thanks again, lads. Robert, how on earth did you ever come up with the olive oil and juice concoction? (I'm tempted to try it, but have to let my stomach settle from all the Brooklyn Lagers put down last eve) :030:
