...but is everything posted on it going to be deleted at some point due to ongoing work?

No that shouldnt be the case, the loss of posts in the old server was an unfortunate occurance that Pikey though wouldnt happen, The upgrades were very important to make iron city a player, You now have got tons of new features etc as im sure you have seen.

We are sorry for the loss of posts but better it happened now than in a few months time eh? Enjoy the site you weight lifting junkies!

Yeah, echo what Dogg said.

I am absolutely gutted about the old posts. I dont know what happened, I had about a folder full of back ups and they are all corrupt. The forum is here to stay now.

really glad to see the forum back up as said great shame about the post loss we had the same thing on getbig (now musclezone) it is gutting but b4 u no it the info that was lost is replaced.
