Hey folks. Need some input again.
Shoulders have always clicked when doing things like benches etc., in fact, all my joints click a little. However, up until recently this was all fine. Ive stopped doing benches in the last months as I seem to have picked up some type of injury in my right shoulder.
On the negative portion of the lift, my shoulders will click about 2/3 the way down, and just as I touch the bar to my nipples, my right shoulder will suddenly go 'shlock' and seem to crack in the joint, almost as if its restricted and then suddenly moving past something. Its not painful in the least, but I stopped benching after about a few sessions of this to see if it would heal after a month. Its still happening now after two months.
I mentioned this to my physio and he said something about an AC joint beign tight. Said to simply avoid benching. Yeah right. It doesnt 'shlock' any other time, just when Im benching. Anyone had similar problems? Advice?
Cheers.
PS- just another thing that my physio dismissed: my front and rear delts are massive compared to my rear delts. My rear delts are a real weak point for me. Would this have any bearing?
